Jon Thomas

Growing up in South East Louisiana, I spent my childhood fishing and enjoying the outdoors. After high school and college, I enlisted in the US Air Force, which took me around the world, including Colorado, Japan, and Alaska. During my 20 years of service, I developed a love for fly fishing, snowboarding, and mountain biking. Now retired, I live in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, with my wife and two children, working part-time as the Radiology Lead at Pagosa Medical Group. Passionate about fly fishing, I dedicate much of my free time to it and enjoy sharing this passion by guiding others to experience the joy and focus it brings.

Terry Arrington

I grew up in Southern New Mexico, where my love for fishing began, and later developed a passion for fly-fishing during college trips to the White Mountains of Arizona. My wife Susan and I moved to Pagosa Springs, Colorado in 2016, where I began guiding and sharing my passion for fly fishing. We are actively involved with Running Rivers, a nonprofit promoting freshwater ecosystem conservation through events like the Flyathlon, combining trail running, fly-fishing, and craft beer.

Gene Gamber

Gene grew up fishing and hunting in southern Michigan and moved to Colorado in 1979, working over 30 years in the Adaptive Ski Program at the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center, where he served as Program Director for 20 years and was inducted into the Disabled Skiing Hall of Fame in 2013. Now, he spends his time guiding and fishing, a profession he has enjoyed for over 13 years, often exploring the Upper Piedra River valley with his black Lab, Josie. Gene loves teaching and introducing people to the beauty of the outdoors through fly-fishing and ice fishing.

Dave Gravley

Dave, a retired MGySgt with over 22 years in the Marine Corps EOD field and multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, has been fly fishing for over 30 years and guiding since his retirement. A resident of Pagosa Springs, he volunteers for Project Healing Waters, teaching fly fishing to wounded and disabled veterans, and enjoys hiking, backpacking, and camping in his free time. Married to his wife Nancy for over 25 years, they have a daughter and two grandchildren who share their love of the outdoors.

Bob Larkin

Growing up fishing across the U.S., I developed a passion for the sport that deepened after catching a huge Rainbow Trout in New Zealand over 30 years ago. After 30 years in the fine wine business, my wife Rosemarie and I relocated to Pagosa Springs, Colorado, in 2018 to be closer to our daughter, Jenny. Now, we enjoy our paradise in Pagosa Springs, where I spend my time fishing, hiking, cooking, and rooting for the Crimson Tide.

Ally Kuhns

A native of Pagosa Springs, I learned to fly fish at a young age and became passionate about it in 2021. Balancing my studies in occupational safety and full-time work, I fished around Denver's front range and developed my skills with the help of great teachers. Now a guide, I enjoy sharing my love for fly fishing and the knowledge I've gained with others.

Jenny Larkin

Growing up in South Florida, I started with spin fishing and offshore fishing with my dad before moving to Denver in 2016, where I became obsessed with fly fishing in 2017. After learning the waters around Denver, I moved to Pagosa Springs in 2021, expanding my fly fishing knowledge and passion. When not fishing, I work as a budtender at Pagosa Craft Dispensary, teach yoga, and enjoy outdoor activities like paddle boarding, hiking, and snowboarding.
